Amit Vig was called to the Ontario Bar in 2010 and established his practice the same year where he primarily practices real estate law. He holds a Certification in Adjudication for Administrative Agencies, Board, and Tribunals from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Certificate in Mediation and Conflict Management from Harvard Law School. During his training and articling, he worked at a boutique law firm and with a deputy judge.
Amit Vig sat on the Investigations Committee as well as the Discipline Committee of the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario from 2019-2021 and regularly was the Chair of discipline hearings.
He has been before the Superior Court of Justice in Ontario for civil matters as well as the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. He is regularly involved in complex residential and commercial real estate transactions and truly enjoys advising clients and corporations from the initial creation of the contract to the completion of the transaction.
In his spare time Amit likes to spend time with his wife and three daughters. He regularly serves on school and parent council and enjoys hiking and traveling. Amit Vig was born in Toronto and likes to sponsor local hockey teams in the area.
Greg Wong
Mr. Wong began with the firm as an articling student and once called to the bar he stayed on with the firm as an associate lawyer. Prior to joining Vig Law, Mr. Wong attended the University of Western Ontario for both his undergraduate and law degrees, obtaining a BA in History before his JD. During his time in law school, he was fortunate to work directly under several judges of the Ontario Court of Justice as part of a placement program, gaining experience in how to improve access to justice and supporting the public good.
His primary focus is to provide exceptional service in real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, and mortgage refinances. He is well experienced in real estate matters and strives to make the often-intimidating process of buying or selling a home as simple and smooth as possible. He additionally works on estate planning, family, and small claims matters and is always looking to explore other areas of law to accommodate the needs of the community.
Mr. Wong is able to communicate effectively in both English and French and always looks forward to the diverse clientele and interesting challenges that emerge in the field of real estate law.
